The corporate headquarters of Modern Paving is located near the site of its main quarry at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Pitts Memorial Drive. At this site, we produce various crushed aggregate products, including hot mix asphalt pavement. Modern Paving owns, operates, and maintains an asphalt plant, a fleet of trucks, a soil treatment facility, rock crushers, and other heavy equipment for on and off-road applications.
OUR HISTORY
Modern Paving was started in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador in 1968. Initially, they began with paving driveways and small parking lots. Since that time, we have employed a team of professional engineers and engineering technologists to work with us. Listed below is the information about our managerial team:

Our company has branched into environmental services through its' sister company - Modern Soil Treatment - owns and operates a fully licensed contaminated soil facility.

From its modest beginnings, Modern Paving has grown in size and expertise, and has the capacity to handle an annual project volume between $20 and $30 million.
